    Development and Application of Ship Grease

    Abstract：In order to improve adhesion of ship grease,based on polyester oil and MVI600 refined mineral oil produced by Yumen Refining Plant,saponification isopropanol is adopted to produce basic grease through proper refining process.Such functional additives as tackifier,antirust agent and antioxidant are added into the basic grease under certain conditions to obtain grease product.Investiga tion results show that the above mentioned functional additives have good compatibility and the grease product has good lubricity, adhesion, rust protection and water resistance and meets the requirements in the national military standard GJB 2095-94. Good feedback on the product has been obtained from users.
