    Abstract:

By analyzing the effect of stray current that originates from Yulonglin ground electrode to the underground pipeline of West East Gas Pipeline 2,it’s less likely to have underground pipeline coating’s disbonding or pipe wall’s serious corrosion. However, the shift of cathodic protection potential causing from the effect may lead to abnormal cathodic protection power supply operation. As a result,it’s necessary to take appropriate mitigation measures to West East Gas Pipeline 2.
