    Analysis on Hydrogeology of Zhongwei Yellow River Tunnel Cross in WestEast Gas Pipeline Project

    Abstract：Zhongwei Yellow River Tunnel in WestEast Gas Pipeline Project is about1200mlong, with net span 53m and clear height 45m, which is under the Yellow River bed, with the maximum depth of about100m. Briefly analyzed are geological tectonic and hydrological characteristics of the place where the tunnel is located, analysis results provide proper basis for tunnel location selection and tunnel burial depth determination. Practice proves that the reasonable hydrogeology analysis has practical significance for tunnel construction option determination, structural design, construction method selection, construction safety and proper operation.
