    Abstract：Orifice flowmeter, as a standard metering device, has been widely used in natural gas process metering, single well yield metering, internal delivery metering and commercial gas metering. In practical application, straight metering length of orifice flowmeter is too long generally.According to different measuring grades,requirements and upstream configurations, it is necessary to determine its straight metering length rationally in order to reduce land occupation area of metering station.
