    Prediction on Gas Hydrate Formation in Gas Filed Flow Lines

    Abstract： High pressure gas gathering technology is adopted in surface gas gathering and transportation of Yanchang Gas Field. Not treated natural gas from gas wells is transported by high pressure gas flow lines into gas gathering station for central treatment， it is probable for gas hydrate formation in gas flow lines under certain temperature and pressure conditions to plug the lines and affect their normal operation seriously. So it is very necessary to predict gas hydrate formation conditions in the flow lines. Introduced is the model of natural gas pipeline dynamics and natural gas hydrate formation statistical thermodynamics and calculation software is developed by using VB. Taking gas flow lines in Yanchang Gas Field for an example， predicted and analyzed are natural gas hydrate formation conditions in the flow lines and calculation results show that the calculation method for gas hydrate formation conditions is practical in actual engineering application.
