    A New Technology for FCC Slurry Oil Utilization

    Abstract: FCC slurry oil thrown out from catalyst unit which processes paraffin crude oil containing a good deal of wax. Under certain conditions, solvent separation method may be adopted to separate FCC slurry oil into slurry oil separation wax and modified slurry oil, both of which have high additional value. After modification of experimental FCC slurry oil, its fragrance composition can be increased by more than 18% and its saturation composition can be decreased by more than 25%. The results from the new FCC slurry oil application technology study show that quality of deoiled asphalt is improved obviously by adding some modified slurry oil into dirt oil and its improvement effect is enhanced by raising volume of slurry oil within certain range. If volume of modified slurry is raised to certain degree, deoiled asphalt can meet the requirements of NO.100 road asphalt when DAO yield is 63%. Compound explosion wax can be made by adding slurry oil separation wax into the distilled composition in lubricating oil system and test results of its main performance, such as exploding velocity, fierce degree and explosion space, can meet requirements in relative standards and application effects of the compound explosion wax is better than those of original formula products.
