Abstract:In current more and more unbalance situation between energy sources supply and demand, development of coalbed methane(CBM) attracts the world?蒺s attention. In such unconventional gas field development, those technologies widely adopted in conventional gas field development are used for reference and improved in order to explore technologies useful for coalbed methane development. Summarized are the fracturing and drainage technologies adopted in coalbed methane development and current status of studies on these technologies, analyzed are problems existing in actual development, compared are advantages and disadvantages of various technologies and their suitability, proposed are the aspects necessary to strengthen in coalbed methane development in China and feasibilities and forecasted is the development tendency. It is point out that development of clean fracture fluids, improvement of carbon dioxide foam fracturing and nitrogen foam fracturing technology and improvement of drainage equipment and drainage working system are important technology breakthrough points in current coalbed methane development in China.
