Abstract:Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline is one of the most important pipelines in China's eastern and western regions. Conducting quantitative risk assessment according to different failure laws and characteristics of pipelines and equipment is the basis and key to implement integrity management on gas transportation stations. Analyzed are characteristics of typical gas transportation stations in Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline, developed is quantitative risk assessment process including risk pre-assessment and inspection, RBI, SIL and RCM analysis, determined are key inspected objects and their locations in gas transportation stations on the basis of in-station pipeline flow field simulation results and proposed is an acceptable risk criterion in combination with HSE management objectives of gas transportation stations in this pipeline. Adopted are the quantitative risk assessment process and method established already to conduct quantitative risk assessment on 278 items of equipment and pipelines in Puguang Gas Station and developed are reasonable risk control and inspection plans, which can effectively prevent failure of equipment and pipelines, enhance safety operation capacity of gas transportation stations in Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline and improve integrity management on these stations.
