Abstract: In order to meet technological requirements and strength personal comfort level, it is necessary to improve design level of heating, ventilation and air conditioning system continuously. Analyzed are some typical problems often occurring in heating, ventilation and air conditioning system design of certain gas treatment plant and it is pointed out that new-style radiator shall be selected for heating system, horizontal series system shall be selected in large auxiliary production building in order to reduce number of heating riser, heating conduit shafts shall be installed in multistory building and pipe valve pits shall be provided in single-storey building in order to make building more beautiful. Mechanical air supply and centralized air exhaust design shall be adopted in area with awful weather and air handling unit shall be provided to handling fresh air. For air conditioning system design, varied refrigerant volume (VRV) shall be installed according to different buildings and unit output of air handling unit shall be corrected according to different weather conditions.
