    Preventive and Control Measures for Sulfur Deposition in High Sour Gas Reservoir

    Abstract：With continuous development of oil and gas exploration technologies， a number of high sour gas reservoirs have been found at home and abroad. Sulfur deposition is a common problem existing in high sour gas field development. In order to reduce damage of sulfur deposition on stratum and wellbore， it is necessary to make clear mechanism of elementary sulfur deposition， its effect factors， and how to prevent and treat such deposition. At present， adopted are such methods for elementary sulfur deposition prevention and treatment as heating melt method， chemical reaction method， sulfur solvent injection method， and the final one method is adopted commonly. Introduced are principle and mechanism of elemental sulfur deposition and proposed are its prevention and control measures in order to provide help for developing high sour gas reservoirs in the future.
