Abstract:The effect of buried gas pipeline cathodic protection is usually evaluated through analysis on cathodic protection potential parameters. The protective potential measured by conventional cathodic protection potential measurement method has an IR drop, which will affect correct judgment on the cathodic protection effect. Analyzed are some issues in the judgment on cathodic protection effect of the western Sichuan buried gas pipelines, adopted is polarization probe to measure cathodic protection potential, which can reduce the IR drop greatly, established is a cathodic protection online monitoring system based on WebGIS, transmitted are cathodic protection potential collected at any time to the monitoring center at regular time, which can greatly improve measurement accuracy, timeliness and resources sharing degree, and provide decision-making basis for pipeline maintenance.
