Abstract:At present, LNG is the fastest-growing fuel in the world and it has reached 5.6 % of global natural gas market and 25.7 % of total natural gas exports. LNG devices are being built in every country in order to increase its reserves and it is being popularized as a clean fuel with low emission. Investigated are process parameters of the LNG peak shaving device in Shanghai Pudong designed by French gas company and put forward is a HYSYS refrigeration method. The method has such refrigeration principle: the cryogen, consisting of two or more mixtures, will be evaporated under certain evaporation pressure within very wide range so as to achieve the required different refrigeration temperature levels, reduce heat transfer temperature difference of heat exchange system and improve the efficiency of the refrigeration system. HYSYS simulation study results show that the simulated data are identical with the site operation data, which can provide reference for LNG device design and can also provide technical support and guidance for design of domestic LNG devices under plan and operating parameter optimization of existing LNG devices.
