Abstract:Hydrate formation will result in many difficulties during natural gas exploitation and gathering and transportation. To predict gas hydrate formation conditions exactly, applied are such?Parrish-Pransnitz model, Du-Guo model and Chen-Guo model and C++ language programming to solve hydrate formation conditions of natural gas containing no inhibitor, compared are the predictions of such models to experimental values, evaluated are prediction precision of such models and determined are their application scopes. Du-Guo model is recommended if natural gas contains no C + 3 heavy hydrocarbon compositions and acid gas, Parrish-Pransnitz model is recommended if natural gas contains C + 3  heavy hydrocarbon compositions but total volume of acid gas is less than 1% and Chen-Guo model is recommended if total volume of acid gas is more than 1%.
