    TEG Dehydration Unit Energy Conservation Design

    Abstract:In order to reduce corrosion of natural gas on pipeline in long distance transportation process, it is necessary to conduct gas dehydration. Up to now, applied is dehydrant absorption method for gas dehydration in most of domestic gas treatment stations and plants, a large amount of heat energy is consumed in the dehydrant triethylene glycol regeneration process and triethylene glycol dehydration unit is an equipment with energy consumption. Modified are structures of such main energy consumption equipment in dehydration unit as absorption tower in high pressure adsorption system and reboiler in low pressure regeneration system and optimized is technological process and introduced is plate heat exchanger so that energy consumption of the whole unit is reduced, energy sources is saved and its operating costs are decreased, which has improved its market competitiveness  accordingly.
