Abstract:In order to accurately predict coalbed methane (CBM) well productivity, it is necessary to make clear the mechanism of coalbed methane migration output. Considered fully are adsorption and desorption characteristics of coalbed methane different from any conventional gas reservoir, analyzed are accumulation, migration and output process of coalbed methane, used respectively are Langmuir isothermal adsorption law and Fick's second law to describe coalbed methane desorption and diffusion process. Established is a mathematical model for coalbed methane migration and output according to seepage differential equation of conventional gas reservoir migration and output and considering desorption and diffusion process, applied are such mathematic method as dimensionless transformation and Laplace transformation to obtain analytical solution of the model and calculation results are given by numerical inversion method in combination with examples and the results show that the model has a certain field application significance.
