Abstract:Studied are hydrate formation conditions in 10L static state reactor under different refrigerant fluid temperatures, flows and gas temperatures in order to deeply understand effects of heat transfer on hydrate formation. In experimental process, the initial temperature of water solution is set at 276.15 K, its constant pressure at 6.6±0.2MPa and water solution 1920g. Experimental results show that when a lot of hydrate is formed, reaction temperature of water solution will rise sharply if heat generated in hydrate formation process can not be removed in time, which will result in rapid decrease and even stop of hydrate formation rate. At the same time, gas temperature also has important effect on hydrate induction period and growth, the induction period will be shortened and growth rate will increase if gas temperature drops. Therefore, the heat transfer has important effect on hydrate formation.
