    Analysis on Flow Field in Forged Elbow

    Abstract：Introduced is a kind of forged elbows suitable for high sour gas field， compared are internal flow fields in two kinds of different flowing modes of such elbows， conducted is numerical analysis on its internal flow fields by using the commercial CFD software and analysis results show that flow vortex and pressure fluctuation exist in forged elbow. Compared are shear stresses in external wall of forged elbow and analysis is conducted on erosion corrosion in external wall of forged elbow under two kinds of different flowing conditions. It is proposed that flowing mode I shall be selected as flowing direction of forged elbow in strong corrosive medium environment.
