    Review on Floating LNG Production Facility Technology

    Abstract：As the energy demand increases continuously， more and more attention is paid to small marginal gas field， associated gas and deepwater gas field development. Floating liquefied natural gas （FLNG） production unit can be flexibly applied to such gas field development due to its advantages， such as low investment， short construction period and reusage. Described is the research status of FLNG technology at home and abroad， introduced are such two kinds of FLNG units as offshore floating production， storage and offloading unit （FPSO） and floating storage and regasification unit （FSRU）， analyzed are the liquefaction system， offloading system and regasification output system and proposed are the liquefaction technology， offloading technology and gasification technology suitable for FLNG.
