Abstract:In order to obtain a computational formula of sweet and sour gas viscosity in low and high pressure conditions, applied are the data analysis software Origin75 and LGE interaction to fit 46 sets of experimental data and determine coefficient of the formula. The formulas in API technical data book and the references are compared with the new formula and comparative results show that the three formulas are accurate in low pressure condition, the formula in API technical data book and the new one used for calculating hydrocarbon and its mixture are accurate in high pressure condition and the API formula for calculating non-hydrocarbon and its mixture is accurate in high pressure condition. It is suggested that the new formula is applied to calculate viscosity of hydrocarbon and its mixture in low and high pressure conditions and the formula in API technical data book is applied to calculate viscosity of non-hydrocarbon and its mixture in high pressure condition.
