    Strategy Research on Internationalization of Chinese National Standards

    Abstract： In “Twelfth Five-year” planning，it is required that Chinese national codes，specifications and standards  used in oil and gas industry are in accordance with international ones and advanced technologies in China's pipeline industry are introduced in international standards. For this reason，introduced are ISO organization and international cooperation，described are procedures of ISO standards establishment and its management mode and recommended are project approval of ISO standards establishment and its review basis，that is，Standard Value Evaluation Tools （SVAT）. Introduced are ISO’s technical committees and subcommittees related to the pipeline industry and systematically combed are ISO standards adopted in the pipeline industry. Analyzed are some issues existing in internationalization of Chinese national standards in the pipeline industry and put forward are suggestions in ISO standards adoption and participation in ISO standards establishment.
