Abstract:For phase-transition occurring probably in foam fluid from ultra-high temperature geothermal foam drilling wellbore,a calculation method is proposed for physical parameters of geothermal foam drilling wellbore. Based on phase-transition discrimination model, combined with foam drilling theoretical model and gas drilling theoretical model,a coupling flow calculation model of high temperature foam phase-transition is established for superhigh temperature geothermal well drilling. Wellbore physical parameters can be obtained through numerical calculation. The results show that wellbore phase transition depends on gas-liquid injection ratio and formation temperature. After phase transition occurs, its physical parameters will change dramatically, but effective cutting-carrying can be still ensured in certain injection conditions.
