    Differences between Chinese National Standards and International Ones for Polyurethane Foam Insulation Materials

    Abstract：Rigid polyurethane foam plastics are widely used in heat preservation systems of directly buried steel pipelines at home and abroad. However，there are many differences between Chinese national standards and international ones used for such materials. Along with more and more imported products，analysis，comparison and researches on such differences are beneficial to optimize material performances and select quality materials. Introduced are different backgrounds of each Chinese national standard preparation and analyzed are main differences between these standards and corresponding international ones and described are some causes of the differences so as to provide  help for technical personnel in following the standards.
