    Research on Parallel Laying Technology for Shaanxi-Beijing Gas Pipeline 3

    Abstract：Shaanxi-Beijing Gas Pipeline 3 transports natural gas from central Asian gas area，Tarim gas field and Changqing gas field to the Bohai coastal region，which is badly in need of clean energy and natural gas transported through this pipeline can meet urgent demand on natural gas energy in this area. Shaanxi-Beijing Gas Pipeline 3 is laid in some areas parallelly together with Shaanxi-Beijing Gas Pipeline 1 and 2 in service and Yulin-Jinan Gas Pipeline under construction. To ensure operation safety of such pipelines and reduce influence of local planning and land usage as far as possible，analyzed are relevant provisions in gas pipeline design standards and specifications at home and abroad and some examples of pipelines laid parallelly in relative projects，discussed are spaces between gas pipelines laid parallelly and studied is the safety issue in pipeline design and construction.
