Abstract:With rapid development of domestic natural gas industry, not a few international companies come to China for cooperative development of natural gas fields together with domestic gas companies and domestic gas companies go abroad for natural gas field development. In such natural gas field development projects, not only domestic standards but also general international standards and specifications of international oil companies shall be followed. Such general international standards mainly include serial standards of API, ASME and ISO, domestic standards mainly include Chinese National Standards and industry standards, specifications of international oil companies mainly include “Design and Engineering Practice” (DEP) of SHELL and “General Specification” of TOTAL. Conducted is contrastive analysis on differences between domestic standards and international ones in applicable scope, pipeline strength calculation, pressure protection, pressure test and weld inspection. Combined with international cooperation cases, some solutions and suggestions on these existing differences are put forward so that equilibrium points can be reached between domestic and international standards in future cooperation projects.
