    Abstract:


    HDPE geomembrane (high density polyethylene film), also known as HDPE antiseepage membrane, is a waterproof barrier type material produced with (medium) high density polyethylene resin as raw material. HDPE geomembrane has excellent physical and mechanical properties of tearing resistance, good low temperature resistance, anti-aging, corrosion resistance and long service life and has been widely used for seepage control in wastewater treatment plant, artificial lake, separation tank, evaporation pool, oil separator and settling pond, etc. Analyzed and summarized are advantages of 2 mm HDPE geomembrane used as impervious layer of wastewater evaporation pool in Turkmenistan South Yolotan Gas Field treatment plant, which will provide engineering experience for impervious layer engineering design of wastewater evaporation pool in future similar projects.
