    Abstract:

The effectiveness of sand packed fracture is a basic guarantee for obtaining fracturing stimulation effect. To reduce construction cost of gel fracturing, avoid damage of gel fracturing fluid residues on prop fracture and increase production efficacy of fracturing wells, a new type of fracturing fluid drag reduction agent and active water fracturing fluid for shale gas development have been developed. Through microemulsion experiment, a new type of drag reduction agent is polymerized for active water fracturing fluid (hereinafter referred to as drag reduction agent JZ-1) in unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Experimental results obtained by performance study on such new drag reduction agent and active water fracturing fluid show that the new drag reduction agent has fast swelling speed and low viscosity. Drag reduction rate can reach 76.5%, surface tension drops down to 25 mN/m, shale expansion rate exceeds 80% and shale formation damage is low to 8.33% when concentration of the agent was 0.05%. Field application results show that the drag reduction agent can effectively reduce friction, sand-carrying performance is excellent and can be used in shale gas and other low permeability tight reservoirs development.
