    Abstract：China-Myanmar Gas Pipeline is one of large diameter and high pressure long distance pipeline built in recent years. The terrains along the pipeline are very complicated with many high mountains and deep valleys and it is very difficult for pigging, diameter measuring and pressure test. Introduced are main pigging, caliper measuring and pressure test technologies applied in the first contract section (the section located within China) of China-Myanmar Gas Pipeline project, put forward are specific requirements for equipment selection, stage classification, pressure determination and pigging technology during construction and proposed are suitable practices in domestic long distance pipeline construction, which is very helpful for the construction of new similar pipelines in near future.
