    Abstract:

Desulfurization and decarbonization is a decisive step in natural gas purification. A number of methods are available for removing acid gases from feed gas streams. Some of commonly used methods are physical solvent method, chemical solvent method, combination of the two methods, separation membrane, etc. Among these methods, amine method, especially the chemical solvent method based on alkylol amine and combination of physical solvent method and chemical solvent method, are used widely in natural gas treatment and deep pretreatment at present. Reviewed is the development status of the chemical solvent method based on alkylol amine and combination of physical solvent method and chemical solvent method in gas desulfurization and decarbonization, introduced are application scope and advantages and disadvantages of typical desulfurization and decarbonization methods and predicted is the future development tendency in gas desulfurization and decarbonization technology.
