    Abstract:

Cross well steam channeling will effect the whole thermal recovery in the process of heavy oil multiple cyclic steam stimulation. Current study is mainly qualitative analysis, difficult to evaluate its affection degree. Analyzed are main causes of the cross well steam channeling, applied is numerical simulation method to study sensitivity of channeling influence factor qualitatively from the angles of reservoir physical properties, fluid viscosity and production performance and introduced is the “variation coefficient method” to screen out key influence factors. Analysis results show that the key influence factors are permeability, reservoir thickness, injection intension and pressure difference between injection and production, which can provide reference for development of measures for reducing cross well steam channeling risk.
