Abstract:In reference with relative national fire-fighting standards and NFPA standard series, combined with the working practice, discussed are the pressure setting and start-stop interlock of steady high pressure fire water supply system. It is considered through the analysis that the maximum output power of driving device is one of the important factors which must be considered in the start-stop pressure setting of pressure maintaining fire pump, fire electric pump and fire pump driven by diesel. Proposed is such suggestion that a buffer tank is added according to relative national standards when NFPA standard series are followed to design a steady high pressure fire water supply system so as to ensure that input power required in pump group start does not exceed the maximum output power of driving device and start stop frequency of the stabilized pressure pump is reduced. Through actual design, analyzed further are considerations in steady high pressure fire water supply system design.
