    Setting of Natural Gas Pipeline Venting System and Corresponding Solutions

    Abstract：According to engineering practice in the past, blowdown vent is installed in gas pipeline valve vault and blowdown vent with ignition function is installed at gas pipeline station. Affected by blowdown vents and thermal radiation of flares, site selection of gas pipeline valve vaults and stations becomes an outstanding issue in project construction. Aiming at PetroChina gas pipeline construction situation, conducted is contrastive analysis on current standards for natural gas blowdown vents at home and aboard. In combination with domestic natural gas blowdown system design, construction and operation and problems existing in this issue, proposed are some referable suggestion for revising current China national standards.
