    Abstract:
Fractures develop in shale of Shengli Oilfield Luojia Block and Qiaozhuang area Sha-3 member, which increases its drilling risk. Conducted is analytical research on shale hydration stability of this block and clarified is its hydration and dispersion mechanism. Conducted is evaluation on drilling fluid system and summarized is its application effect. Field application in Bo-Shale-Horizontal Well 1 and 2 and Liang-Shale lHF Well shows that oil-based drilling fluid system can fully meet this block drilling requirements and has good shale inhibition and hole cleaning function. Pointed out are problems existing in field application and proposed are some relative countermeasures. This research has guiding significance for improvement of wellbore stability and downhole safety.
