    Design and Construction of Concrete Fire Pool

    Abstract:Concrete fire pool design is widely used in different projects. However, in those areas with high underground water level, floatation accidents happen usually. In anti-floating design, such methods are commonly used as self-weight method, weight-increasing method, precipitation method and anchor rod method. In fire pool design, ballast soil weight method shall be preferred so as to reduce concrete consumption. Detail structures of fire pool shall be designed optimally and engineering construction difficulty and cost shall be reduced as far as possible. In construction of fire pool, precautionary measures shall be taken for positions easy to leak.
