Quality of carbon steel materials and equipment is a crucial factor for ensuring quality and reliability of the whole project. Conducted is analysis on a case study of the gas production facilitiy project located in Amu Darya Right Bank of Turkmenistan. In this project, quality control on carbon steel materials and equipment was included in strict Quality Management System of the project and carried out through material selection, procurement, manufacturing and factory inspection, on-site test and construction. Such each link as material selection, procurement, etc. was strictly monitored through the Quality Management System so as to ensure quality of materials and equipment effectively and strict construction supervision and management also ensure quality of the whole project effectively.
