    Optimization of Wellhead Automatic Safety Control System

    Abstract:

    The stable and reliable wellhead safety control system is an important guarantee for safe production of gas wells in oilfield. Field application shows that most of failures in electric-hydraulic wellhead safety control system are resulted from automatic control components. In order to improve the reliability of the system in essence, it is necessary to analyze and optimize automatic control components of the existing system. Analyzed are the working principle and characteristics of wellhead safety control system in Tarim Oilfield, identified are problems existing in automatic control components of the system and proposed are specific optimization scheme and such corrective recommendation as addition of ventilation and heat dissipation and vibration attenuation design in control cabinet, application of modified highly integrated automation architecture (such as redundant controller), which can provide valuable reference for optimization and modification and subsequent procurement of high-pressure oil and gas wellhead safety control system.
