Abstract:Due to the effect of pressure and temperature, formation fluids in condensate gas reservoirs often present the phenomenon that components change with their burial depth, which is called as compositional gradient. Determination of the GOC in condensate gas reservoirs is significant for reasonable development of such reservoirs. Study at home and abroad shows that effect of temperature variation on the compositional gradient is not obvious and can be ignored. Deduced is the isothermally theoretical model of the hydrocarbon compositional gradient, analyzed is the distribution of formation fluids in well Y101-53-X2 of Anyue Gas Field and used is the comparison chart method of saturation pressure and reservoir pressure to determine that the GOC of well Y101-53-X2 is about 2310m under the ground. Result shows that this theoretical model can accurately estimate GOC of single well in condensate gas reservoir.
