Abstract:Adopted is such purification process as mixed alcohol amines method for decarburization of a liquefied natural gas project in Inner Mongolia. In the actual operation, composition of feed gas diverges greatly from design conditions. In order to optimize process parameters of the decarbonization unit and make the carbon dioxide content in purified gas be less than 50×10-6, gathered are the operational data of the LNG plant and analyzed are the effects of such important process parameters as operating pressure and temperature, amine circulation rate and acid gas load on the C02 removal unit. After adjusting the parameters of feed gas into absorption tower, the operating pressure is reduced from 6.3MPa to 5.8MPa, lean amine circulation rate is reduced from 15m3/h to 13m3/h. Accordingly, the shaft power of gas compressor is reduced by 37kW and the energy consumption of reboiler is reduced by about 13%, which has directive significance for other similar mixed amine method purification process designs.
