    Abstract:

Typhoon Mode Production (TPM) of offshore oil and gas platform means that operating personnel continue to monitor and control production system remotely in central control room (CCR) of downstream onshore terminal during fully typhoon evacuation. This Typhoon Mode Production is firstly applied in Panyu Gas Field located in the eastern sea area of the South China Sea. Introduced is the implementation process of Typhoon Mode Production in Panyu Gas Field, analyzed are problems existing in the past practical application, proposed are reasonable countermeasures and optimization schemes for more stable and more reliable operation and shown are remarkable achievements obtained in Typhoon Mode Production, which can provide important reference for other gas fields in the South China Sea.
