Abstract：Emergency safety accidents in oil and gas field surface construction projects have major harizonaards and will directly affect sustainable development of oil and gas field surface construction. In order to improve quality of oil and gas field surface engineering construction, it is necessary to effectively analyze factors possibly resulting in sudden incidents in oil and gas field surface construction projects and propose some effectual safety precautions according to certain specific accidents. While factors for sudden incidents are carefully analyzed, a control countermeasure of "People first and rely mainly on prevention" is adhered consistently, which can effectively avoid some unexpected safety accidents, ensure safety of oil and gas field surface engineering and improve economic and social benefits greatly.
