    Abstract:

In order to study the influences of short time high-speed shearing on the modification effects of crude oil treated by pour point depressant and find out the proper method lo simulate pump shear in the laboratory, the mixed crude oil-2 in the third pipeline from Dingbian to Jinghian is taken as an example by using stirrer and rheometer respectively to shear crude oil treated by pour point depressant in high speed, observe the influence of temperature, strength and time of high-speed shearing on the modification effects of crude oil treated by pour point depressant through pour point and apparent viscosity, and analyze the similarities and differences between high-speed shearing of stirrer and rheometer. It is found that long-time or low-temperature high-speed shearing has a greater effect on the modification effects of crude oil treated by pour point depressant which is not sensitive to the change of the shearing strength in a short time, and the experimental results of high-speed shearing of rheometer fall behind those of stirrer. As a result, in the pipeline transportation, crude oil should avoid long-time or low-temperature high-speed shearing and pour point depressant can be added before the centrifugal pump; stirrer is more suitable for simulating pump shearing.
