    Abstract:
Scale has seriously impacted the normal operation of oil field. Ultrasonic treatment, as a new physical descaling technology, is getting more attention. To ascertain that ultrasonic treatment has effect on pipeline's anti-scaling, a set of ultrasonic descaling device was designed to experiment at different frequency of 20kHz, 28kHz, 68kHz, 120kHz respectively. For calcium carbonate, it was found that anti-scale effect was best under frequency of 28kHz; best descaling and economical benefit can be got when ultrasonic lasted for 5 minutes, with weaker ability of form crystals; the anti-scale ability is stronger at the ultrasonic action cycle of 12 hours. According to comparison for the results of ultrasonic scaling experiment for four salt scales, namely calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and strontium sulfate, it is found that ultrasonic treatment has the best descaling effect on calcium sulfate.
