    Development of a Gas Well Foam Agent with Salt Resistance, Methanol Tolerance and Condensate Oil Resistance Ability

    Abstract:The process of foam drainage gas recovery is usually used to remove effusion at bottom in the middle and later periods of the gas recovery. However wellbore fluid with high salinity, sometimes containing methanol and condensate, will affect the foam agent performance. In order to compound better foam agent, a series of measures have been taken in this article. Firstly, two foam agents is selected from six main foam agents and the best proportion and concentration is determined by evaluation and analysis. Secondly, in order to improve the foaming performance and stability performance of the foam agents, three kinds of additives are joined to increase the foam height and half-life. Thirdly, sensitivity analysis is performed for the compounded foam agent. Finally it is proved in this that the compounded foam agent has excellent salt resistance, temperature tolerance, methanol resistance and resistance to condensate oil.
