With regard to the planning method of engineering company's information construction, the internal logic and planning methods for the objectives, scope, principles, technique routes and format of information construction are studied in this paper. According to the long-term working practice of informatization construction in the company, the experiences for informatization management of core asset of engineering company, such as human resources, knowledge asset, software asset, hardware asset and data asset are summarized to form planning method of enterprise information construction of engineering company with industrial features.
