Abstract:The harmfulness of the LNG leakage and the theoretical model of the LNG pool fire thermal radiation were studied and the factors affecting the safe distance of the thermal radiation of pool fire were calculated and analyzed by DNVPHAST software. The effect of wind speed, atmospheric stability, leakage and cofferdam size on pool fire thermal radiation were obtained. The research shows that the factors including wind speed, leakage and size of cofferdam all have effects on the range of thermal radiation to varying degree, among which leakage has the most significant effect. The atmospheric stability has relatively less effect on the range of thermal radiation.
