Abstract：With the background of the natural gas trunk line network phase 2 in Guangdong
province, the application of CORS technology in oil& gas pipeline surveying
is studied in this paper. Through analyzing the CORS-related technologies and the
state of oil & gas long-distance pipeline surveying, the technical ideas and
implementation methods of CORS' s application in oil & gas pipeline control
survey, digital pipeline construction and safety operation are stated. It is
concluded that the CORS technology, compared with the traditional survey, has more
flexible and convenient mode of operation, more accuracy in the measurement of
plane and vertical control survey, and higher operability in safety operations.
Studies have shown that CORS technology is suitable for application in oil
& gas long-distance pipeline surveying, which can greatly improve the
efficiency, reduce the cost of long-distance pipeline surveying, and
effectively promote the safe operation of oil & gas long-distance pipeline
