    Research and Application of Reservoir Forming Rules of Fractured Volcanic Reservoir

    Abstract:Niudong volcanic reservoirs are reservoirs of fracture porosity. Fracture is both a reservoir space and the most important flow channel. Unclear understanding for the crack distribution and forming rules will result in well deployment failure. In order to increase drilling success rate and develop ND volcanic reservoir effectively, a simple technology of identifying coherent body property of fault system was used to identify fracture development zones by means of equal proportion window-division technology. Small plane coherent layer amplitude attribute or attributes of the laminated small layer were obtained by extraction to predict fracture zone, the results of which is quite consistent with the high-yield wells region, indicating that the technique is an effective method for predicting dense volcanic rock fracture zones and is of guiding significance for the optimization of pattern deployment, potential tapping by sidetracking. Through analysis on drilling failure wells, favorable sealing condition is a key factor for the reservoir forming of fractured volcanic reservoirs. The technology of large volume fracturing horizontal wells was used for underdeveloped crack zone with good results.
