    Brief Analysis on Application of Civil 3D in General Arrangement Plan Design

    Abstract：In order to make the software aided drawing tool more maneuverable and intelligentized, it is necessary to conduct research on traditional 2D software to find out one more useful tool replacing traditional 2D software. As a three-dimensional design software for multi-domain, Civil 3D has the following advantage compared with traditional 2D software:  Creating modeling for every element in general arrangement plan makes it possible to rebuild-automatic. 3D modeling makes the related elements form an organic unity, which means that if one element is modified, the related part will be rebuilt automatic. This pattern puts away traditional manual drawing, improves design efficiency and ensures accuracy of information.
