Abstract:In recent years, the airborne electromagnetic method has been used in many fields, such as the land resources, mineral resources and geological survey. In order to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the airborne electromagnetic and the audio magnetotelluric, so that the appropriate working method could be selected during the process of the practical work to improve the working efficiency and accuracy, save the cost, in this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of airborne electromagnetic and audio magnetotelluric have been analyzed by comparing the air-borne electromagnetic data acquisition and application effect in oil and gas pipeline tunnel engineering investigation with the audio magnetotelluric, providing reference for method selection and use.
