Abstract:To reduce the effect of compressors shutdown in gas transmission initial station on normal production of upstream gas processing plant, the impacts of single and double compressor failure to upstream gas processing plant was analyzed based on the existing piping system of certain gas transmission initial station with SPS simulation software and the allowed buffer time was specified respectively. Consequently, three different methods and countermeasures were proposed and verified during simulation at the same time in order to assure the safety of production and operation of upstream gas processing plant and pipelines.
