    Research on Environmental Drilling Fluids of Extended Reach Well in Hainan Block

    Abstract：According to the characteristic of well bore structure of well with large inclination and displacement at Hainan block of Liaohe oilfield, and the complex geological conditions such as fragile stratum, easy blocking as well as strict environmental protection requirements, the performance requirements on drilling fluid were analyzed, which is followed by preparation of environmental-friendly extended reach well drilling fluid formula from laboratory test. At the same time, a complete set of optimized construction process and the environmental protection measures were achieved. The site application of multi-port well showed that the non-toxic drilling fluid can meet the needs of the extended reach well as safe, fast drilling and environmental requirements.
